The best way I've found to get a good background is simply to google the type of pictures I'm looking for and when I see one I really like, I right click the mouse and save it to my computer. Then I apply the picture as my background.

type in the picture you want on yahoo.com
click images after you search
narrow down to wallpapers on top right.
take your pic.
Go to your search box and Type in Free Backgrounds.
you'll see hundreds of sites to get them from. Save them to a folder on your PC.
Then when you go to change your background, go to your folder and choose the one you want.
that is it.
