What is the difference between ethnic groups/backgrounds, heritages, races, and nationalities?

I'll use me as an example:

Ethnic/Background: Mexican-American

Heritage: Hispanic

Race: Mostly Indian/Native but with some Caucasian (Spanish)

Nationality: American

ethnic groups and races are more of a skin color or tone. Heritages and nationalities are more of what country are you from type of thing, not neccessarily race.

Interpretation of this question is best summed up by saying Ethnic aspects is a genetic class and nationality is an environmental location. Africa, any country, is a national location, and Africans are genetically inhabitants. Same with all nations.

Spartawo...
Race: Non existent.

Ethnic Groups/Background: I happen to be the same colour as you ...YAy!! ...Now where a group?

Heritage: My parents decided to take your land while your parents did! We killed thousands of poeple but were amazing scholars who developed Anerica for the better!

Nationalities: Mommy and Daddy couldn't seem to wait until they got home to have me so I guess I was born on a random speck of land and now legally I'm part of their nation. Or the I decided to fly/hop/boat/swim? a few borders got a piece of paper and now I'm part of that nation.
Race- environmental adaptation(Human)

Ethnicity- tribes and cultural affiliation

Background-individuals life experience/exposure

Heritage- Similar to background/your history eg.

An arab immigrant and a mexican immigrant

can share the same heritage in America if

they both came over to US while infants

Nationalities=citizenship
