im re decorating my room %26amp; im making photo boards i have brought a plan pin up board %26amp; i would like to decorate it i need idea's???
i was thinking about black as the bakground with paint splatter but i have no idea's what colours to use
what colours do i use???
what things should i out on it?? (bows etc)
what colour should i do the photos? (sepiaetc) im thinking just normal!!!

I think you need to consider how harmonious the colour of the photo board will match your overall room colour.
Regardless of the room colour, black is a nice neutral colour used as a background it doesn't compete with colours from your photos and is easy to decorate on. Moreover, with elements in black, white or grey covering a large area can also make a multi-colour space less busy.
For photo colours, you probably choose them from the same colour range,so as to create a theme effect for your display. E.g. red, red orange, orange yellow or purple, purple blue, blue and etc or black and white with a touch of bright orange in places to give a fresh, neat look...
However, there is no absolute right or wrong when designing a colour plan. Don't let the theoretical rules stop your creativity.
